Peer groups are known to impact whether teens smoke cigarettes, drink alcohol or take drugs. Now, there's new evidence to suggest that they also affect adolescents' body image as well as their dieting efforts and workouts, as you'll learn in today's Lean Plate Club column.
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)
Whether you have wondered what it's like to join a CSA or you've joined one and wondered what to do with some of the produce in your weekly bag, you won't to miss the ongoing saga of one CSA member, who is chronicling her produce in the Food section. Local Harvest offers a searchable database for CSA's nationwide. Or try this New Farm locator, which links consumers to farms.
Eat Well Guide is another free, online service that will link you to local, sustainable and organic food in the U.S. and Canada.

Fitness Trends
What's the most common equipment offered in fitness clubs? Answer: resistance tubing and bands followed by stability balls, barbells and balance equipment, according to IDEA Health and Fitness Association--the largest association for health and fitness professionals.
Next most popular: foam rollers and small balls, followed by medicine balls, steps and platforms, treadmills and yoga mats.
What's your favorite piece of workout equipment? Steps would be mine. Tell us yours now or join today's Web chat live from 1 to 2 p.m. ET E-mail me anytime at leanplateclub@washpost.com.
Food Find!
Mrs. Dash's new marinades, which are salt-free, contain no MSG and are full of flavor. I used the Lime Marinade to marinate chicken before broiling for a Caesar salad that won raves from family members, aged 2 to 70. Other marinades include: Spicy Teriyaki and Zesty Garlic Herb and many more. (And I have no connection with the company.)
Another food find: Kashi TLC Honey Toasted 7 Grain Crunchy Granola Bars. They come two to a pack, with 180 calories, six grams of fat and just 0.5 grams of saturated fat. But one bar is quite satisfying and is especially good with a glass of skim milk for a late afternoon pick-me-up. These bars are similar to great-tasting Nature Valley Granola bars, but I like the crispness of Kashi's blend even better. (And again, I have no connection with either company.)
