Starbucks Coffee, trying to overcome a slowdown in its U.S. business, recently announced that it would close 600 unprofitable stores. The Seattle chain released an initial list of closures last week and followed up yesterday with a complete list. Stores in the D.C. area listed to close are:

District of Columbia

2101 L Street

Maryland

Collington Plaza, Bowie

10240 Baltimore Ave., College Park

Montgomery Village Plaza, Gaithersburg

Cloppers Mill Shopping Center, Germantown

Fairwood Green Village Center, Glenn Dale

Saint Charles Towne Center, Waldorf

Westfield Mall, Wheaton

Virginia

Madison Crescent, Gainesville
