Break out of your habits this summer by experimenting with grape varietals you drink less frequently or might never have tried before. Here are some ideas for where to start, based on wine you already like:

This Story

- If you like chardonnay, try Chablis, Gewuerztraminer, Mersault, pinot gris (especially Alsatian), Viognier or white Burgundy

- If you like pinot grigio, try Albariño, Arneis, Fiano or verdicchio.

- If you like Riesling, try Albariño, Scheurebe or txakoli.

- If you like sauvignon blanc, try Albariño, Gruener Veltliner, Pouilly-Fume, Sancerre or txakoli.
