If you're at the beach and suddenly get a hankering for a local-free-range-egg omelet or an organic arugula and mesclun salad, quell your cravings at one of these farmers markets:

Historic Lewes Farmers Market operates from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday at the Lewes Historical Society Complex, 110 Shipcarpenter St., except for Aug. 2, when it will be in the parking lot of Shields Elementary School, 910 Shields Ave. The market runs through Sept. 13.

Rehoboth Beach Farmers' Market, which runs through Oct. 9, is open every Tuesday, rain or shine, from noon to 4 p.m. in Grove Park, at Columbia and Rehoboth avenues.

Bethany Beach Farmers Market, operating through Aug. 31, is open Sundays from 8 a.m. to noon in the parking lot of the Mercantile Peninsula Bank at Garfield Parkway and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Fenwick Island Farmers' Market is fresh to the scene this year, operating Fridays through Aug. 29 from 8 a.m. to noon in the parking lot of the Bethany-Fenwick Chamber of Commerce, 36913 Coastal Hwy., Fenwick Island.
