When traveling in China, don't fall victim to a scam. Here are some of the more popular con jobs as listed on http:/
· Be on alert for counterfeit money. Phony bills are so common, they even come out of ATMs. Most stores have machines to check the validity of the bills.
· Don't be tempted by sultry women . Young women lure men to a bar, which then charges the tourist an enormous amount for drinks.
· Watch out for fake employees . At airports and bus stations, impostors pose as porters, then demand payment for a made-up transportation tax.
