At a cost of nearly $800,000 each, Metro's fancy new buses are the highest-priced in the fleet. Yet they will seat fewer passengers, serve fewer routes and have far fewer fueling stations than the less expensive buses ["Metrobuses Get a Makeover," Metro, July 22].

It seems that Metro is once again spending more to provide less.
