PERSONNEL DEPT.
In his second rehab appearance with Class AAA Columbus, reliever Ryan Wagner, trying to make it back from the labrum surgery he had in June 2007, allowed six hits and five runs in one inning. But it was his first rough outing yet. In eight minor league games before that one, he had allowed just one run. In his first game with Columbus, 2B Emilio Bonifacio, acquired Tuesday from Arizona for Jon Rauch, went 2 for 5 with one strikeout. He was caught stealing on his only attempt.
