Good for D.C. and Indiana

Friday, August 1, 2008

In his July 30 letter, U.S. Rep. Mark Souder displayed no moral hesitation in asserting a right, as an elected representative of the people in the state of Indiana, to decide what gun laws apply in the District of Columbia.

I can only assume, then, that he would equally have no problem with giving me, a resident of the District of Columbia, the right to vote for a representative who has the right to decide what gun laws shall apply in Mr. Souder's home state of Indiana.
