One Man Killed; Another Is Wounded
A 27-year-old District man was slain and a second man was wounded in a shooting early yesterday in Northwest Washington, D.C. police said.
Officers responding to a report of gunshots in the 300 block of Decatur Street found Jason Fannell of the 400 block of Kennedy Street NW wounded on the ground. He was pronounced dead at a hospital. The other victim, whom authorities did not identify, was found near Fannell. He was hospitalized in critical condition, police said.
