After missing the last 30 days with a left calf strain, 1B Aaron Boone rejoined the Nationals yesterday. As part of that transaction, Washington sent SS Alberto González to the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to Aug. 5. . . . Both SS Cristian Guzmán (left thumb) and C Jesús Flores (stomach virus) were late scratches from the lineup. Flores was given an IV and should be ready to play today. Guzmán, though, will need a "couple days off," Manager Manny Acta said.
