These deaths were reported by funeral homes in Southern Maryland:

TULL, Gerald Roy, 61, of Cobb Island, an accountant for the Department of the Interior, died Aug. 12 at Civista Medical Center in La Plata.

ABELL, Sr., Carl Francis, 70, of Avenue, a restaurant owner, died Aug. 7 at home.

BANKINS-BUSH, Dora Elizabeth, 45, of Hollywood, a professor, died Aug. 5 at home.

HURRY, Mary Carol, 52, of Clements, a general-store manager, died Aug. 6 at her sister's home in Hollywood.

KNOTT, Doris Teresa, 75, of Leonardtown, a homemaker, died Aug. 5 at home.

LLOYD, David Berkley, 48 of Mechanicsville, a truck driver, died Aug. 5 at home.

McGRATH, Timothy Brian, 50, of Lexington Park, a U.S. Navy chief, died Aug. 11 at St. Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown.

THOMPSON, Jr., Louis Marshall, 84 of Avenue, a waterman, died Aug. 4 at home.
