First baseman Dmitri Young is one of the Nationals' most popular players, in part because of diving plays that often land him with a dirty uniform.
What's it like playing in the newest stadium in the major leagues?
"It is very fun, because from some places in the stadium you can see the Capitol. We have a big scoreboard, and we have the red, white and blue colors, which represent the Nationals and the United States of America."
What's your favorite part of the stadium?
"The field itself."
What's it like on the field during a game?
"It's a lot of electricity. You feel the fans. The lights are shining down on you. It gives you that feeling where you just want to do your best at all times."
What's the most fun part of your job?
"Going up to the plate and hitting."
