Bolivia Wants Moreno

The Bolivian federation has requested United F Jaime Moreno for the national team's World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador on Sept. 6 and Brazil four days later, but because of D.C.'s schedule, a compromise might be reached so he is not away for an extended period.

INJURY REPORT

MF Marcelo Gallardo (hernia) "will play again this season," GM Dave Kasper said. "We will see how he responds this week" before determining a timeline. . . . MF Domenic Mediate (concussion) might end up being placed on the season-ending injury list. . . . MF Fred (hamstring) said he hopes to be back in two weeks, not the three to four initially indicated.

Roster Rumblings
