The Washington Nationals are looking forward. That has been made clear again and again. From the players' standpoint, September will be a month to evaluate call-ups and a final opportunity to build a small bit of morale heading into the offseason. "I just want to see the younger guys coming up and the guys right here to sustain the progress they have made," Manager Manny Acta said, "so when we go during the offseason, we can remember the last month or so they played well, without having to go back to June or July, when they weren't doing well."
