As far as teasers go, this is a pretty pathetic effort to seems cute, funny and cuddly...but then, come to think of it, an ad which features Jerry Seinfeld has to be about nothing. So it is:
The campaign was developed by ad agency Crispin, Porter + Bogusky and will cost about $300 million, according to reports. More details.
Meanwhile, in an slightly related story, Sony ( NYSE: SNE) Pictures Television has launched a 26-city "Seinfeld Campus Tour", with a bus loaded with show memorabilia, video highlights and all kinds of other interactive elements, with a view to attract a younger audience for the evergreen show, or so they hope, through more DVD sales and digital media. More details here.
