Memorial at Pentagon Marks 9/11 Anniversary
· The nation's first major Sept. 11 memorial is being unveiled today at the Pentagon to mark the seventh anniversary of the terrorist attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people in Virginia, New York and Pennsylvania.
The two-acre site features 184 steel benches, one for each of the people who died when a plane crashed into the Pentagon.
After today's dedication for family members, the memorial will be open to the public.
Buzz Lightyear Saves More Than the Day
· A dad and his autistic son survived more than 15 hours treading water in the Atlantic Ocean by repeating a favorite line from the movie "Toy Story."
Twelve-year-old Christopher Marino got caught in a current while his family was on vacation in Daytona Beach, Florida. His dad, Walter, went after him.
The two kept in touch in the choppy waters by calling out "To infinity, and beyond," Walter Marino said yesterday. Both were rescued unharmed.
