When are the low-attendance weeks for Disney World and Universal theme parks? I have flexible travel plans and would like to go when the lines are short.

One of the best, i.e., least crowded, times to hit Orlando theme parks is right now. Once the kids go back to school, the parks become much more manageable and pretty much stay that way through November (except for Thanksgiving weekend) and up to mid-December, when the Christmas madness starts. January and February (excluding the Martin Luther King Jr. and Presidents' Day holidays) are also good times to go. The most crowded times are March through the third week of August, plus the Christmas holiday weeks.
