OF Austin Kearns was able to play catch on Sunday, and Manager Manny Acta didn't rule out the chance of Kearns playing before season's end. But he said Kearns would only play at full strength and throwing is "just a small step." Kearns has been on the disabled list since Aug. 26 with a stress fracture of the left foot.
