Arenas and His Left Knee

A look at the knee trouble for Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas, who signed a six-year, $111 million contract in July:
April 4, 2007: Arenas tears meniscus in left knee, causing him to miss the final eight regular season games and the playoffs.
Oct. 31: Arenas has knee drained during preseason, starts the Wizards' opener and plays the next seven games.
Nov. 16: Arenas reinjures his knee against the Timberwolves.
Nov. 21: Surgeons repair a partial tear of the left medial meniscus.
April 2, 2008: Arenas returns and plays five of the last eight regular season games and first four playoff games against Cavs.
April 30: Team declares Arenas out for the rest of the playoffs after he struggled with a bone bruise and pinched nerve.
Wednesday: Surgeons clear out floating debris in Arenas's left knee. Arenas says he plans to begin play in December.
