CBS

Worst Week: Monday, Sept. 22, 9:30 p.m.

A normal, sweet guy (Kyle Bornheimer) turns into a bumbling lunatic whenever he's around his girlfriend's parents (Nancy Lenehan, Kurtwood Smith). It's "Meet the Parents," a thousand times more awkward.

The Mentalist: Tuesday, Sept. 23, 9 p.m.

Is he psychic? Is he crazy? Does he just have really good vision? Simon Baker ("The Devil Wears Prada," "Something New") stars as Patrick Jane, a supersleuth with a sharp eye and a penchant for helping the California Bureau of Investigations solve complex crimes.

Gary Unmarried: Wednesday, Sept. 24, 8:30 p.m.

A recently divorced dad (Jay Mohr), whose ex-wife (Paula Marshall) is engaged to their marriage counselor, adjusts to single life. (Overly precocious children alert!)

The Ex List: Friday, Oct. 3, 9 p.m.

A psychic tells Bella (Elizabeth Reaser -- remember Jane Doe from "Grey's Anatomy"?) she must find a husband within a year, or she will be single forever. Oh, and it's someone she's already dated. Beginneth frantic scrolling through a long list of exes.

Eleventh Hour: Thursday, Oct. 9, 10 p.m.

When it looks as though the bad guys are about to cause a mass smallpox outbreak or clone people for evil, a brilliant scientist (Rufus Sewell -- yes, yet another Brit doing an American accent on TV) always swoops in to the FBI at the last minute -- or the eleventh hour-- to save the day.
