SS Cristian Guzmán was held out of the lineup last night because of the flu. Asked how he felt, Guzmán simply said, "I'm real sick." Alberto González started yesterday in Guzmán's place. . . . Two men on the business side of the organization -- Tom Ward, the senior vice president and chief marketing officer, and Mike Shapiro, the senior vice president of business affairs -- have left the team within the last two or three weeks, a Nationals spokesman said.
