Ex-Presidents Team Up for Hurricane Aid
George H.W. Bush made a surprise appearance at Bill Clinton's philanthropy conference yesterday to announce that the two will team up to raise money for relief in parts of Louisiana and Texas battered by Hurricanes Gustav and Ike. James A. Baker III, Bush's secretary of state and a partner at a Houston law firm, will serve as the national chairman of the recovery fund. In 2005, the two former presidents raised millions in aid after the Asian tsunami and Hurricane Katrina.
