Wind at the Back of Green Jobs

Alternative energy and environmental services should create more than 20 million jobs worldwide by 2030, a U.N. report says. The report adds:

· 2.3 million workers already have alternative-energy jobs, half in biofuels.

· Green jobs are not readily available for the world's 1.3 billion working poor (43 percent of global labor).

· Solar energy should add 6.3 million jobs, wind power 2 million.
