We've heard these rumours, too; now someone's also told Reuters that Nokia ( NYSE: NOK) will use its event next week to unveil its Tube touch-screen phone. The event next Thursday night in London is actually a Comes With Music launch, dubbed "Nokia Remix", that will show off both new services and device. We had assumed the device announcement would refer to the 5310 handset, which we already knew would be the first to work with Comes With Music. But Nokia sources I spoke with this week could barely contain their excitement about the launch, suggesting somethingmoremay be coming?

Could it be the addition of EMI to Comes With Music, an announcement of operator partnerships for the program, the debut of its long-awaited first touch-screen handset, or a combination of all three? Perhaps a new interface layer previewed in April? Nokia said in July it would release touchscreen devices in the second half of this year. Here's a concept from earlier this year?
