Mars Theme Song: 'Let It Snow'

· If you're planning on a trip to Mars anytime soon, be sure to pack your winter coat and a shovel.

That's because the latest weather forecast on Mars calls for morning fog and swift-moving clouds -- along with light snow.

The surprising weather report was part of the latest scientific findings from NASA's Phoenix lander, which has been taking measurements at the Martian north pole since landing May 25.

"Nothing like this has ever been seen on Mars," scientist Jim Whiteway said this week. In the coming weeks, he said, scientists will be searching for evidence that the snow falls on the ground.
