The Sept. 28 editorial "Money Ball" noted that the owners of the Washington Nationals, Theodore N. Lerner and his family, have refused to pay rent of $3.5 million for use of the new ballpark.

There is a simple solution to this problem. Serve the Nationals with an eviction notice and let the Lerners find someplace else to field their team; then begin negotiations with a responsible party (Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder, perhaps?) to field a potentially winning team for the area.
