With two winners in the first three Maryland Million races, trainer Damon Dilodovico had a career-best day yesterday at Laurel Park, but he didn't have any time to celebrate.

Dilodovico, 43, of Cobbs Island, Md., also works for International Sound, the in-house television contractor at the track. After collecting trophies in the winner's circle, the trainer sprinted back to the operations trailer between the grandstand and clubhouse to put up the graphics for payoffs.

"Oh, yeah," Dilodovico said when asked if his day was hectic. "I'm not out of this room too much."

With jockey Travis Dunkelberger riding both his horses, Dilodovico first won the $50,000 Starter Handicap for 3-year-olds and older as Let Me Be Frank rolled to a 10-length victory, completing the 1 1/8 -mile race in 1 minute 53.06 seconds. In the third race the tandem struck again. Swear Allegiance scored an upset at 12-1 in the $50,000 Starter Distaff, winning by 2 3/4 lengths.

Dilodovico has been training since 1990 and began working for International Sound eight years ago. "You need two incomes nowadays," he said.

Asked if he gets to enjoy the victories with his owners, Dilodovico said, "We're always on the phone."

· $150,000 Sprint: Broadway Producer and Rubi Echo were scratched to run in other races, and veteran Celtic Innis beat just three other runners for his first victory since 2006. Trained by Tim Keefe for owner-breeder Allen Murray, Celtic Innis ran the six furlongs in 1:10.81.

· $100,000 Turf Sprint: Filly Kosmo's Buddy stalked the lead of heavy favorite Natural Seven and closed fast in the final strides to upset a field of colts and geldings in the turf sprint. The homebred runner for Arnold Smolen won the 5 1/2 -furlong race in 1:02.84 under jockey Eric Camacho.

· $200,000 Turf: New York-based trainer John Terranova made a decision to pull Broadway Producer from the Sprint and wound up winning the richer Turf by a neck as the favorite. The 5-year-old finished third in the Turf last year but won this year under jockey Horacio Karamanos with a six-wide move into the stretch. Karamanos, a mainstay in Maryland, is returning to his native Argentina to ride in the winter.
