Regarding the Sept. 30 news story "China's Milk Scandal Hits Western Brands; Cadbury Announces Chocolate Recall":
I ask America's leaders: When is enough enough? It's time to stop importing products from China. Its goods have proved unreliable and deadly. I expect the foods I eat to be safe and free of toxins.
China says it is sorry, but only after tainted infant formula led to the deaths of four children there. What about the rest of the world? Do we matter? Only time and a few more contaminated items will tell.
