· Local wines and local food will be featured at a dinner Oct. 16 sponsored by Les Dames d'Escoffier in the Willard Room of the Willard InterContinental Hotel, 1401 Pennsylvania Ave NW. Four Virginia wineries (DelFosse, Michael Shaps, Chrysalis and Barboursville) and their winemakers will be featured. Reception at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m. $145 per person.
