ROBBERIESMOUNT VERNON AND FLEET STREETS,11:25 a.m. Sept. 18. Four males on a footpath accosted a male youth and demanded property. When he refused, they assaulted him, took property and fled.
TWINBROOK PKWY.,12600 block, 11:30 p.m. Sept. 16. A man accosted a man at a gas station who was waiting to meet with a client, grabbed his cellphone and fled.
TWINBROOK PKWY.,12900 block, 10:15 p.m. Sept. 18. Two people accosted a pizza deliveryman as he walked back to his vehicle after making a delivery and demanded pizza. When he refused, the males assaulted him and fled. A youth was arrested in the incident.

BOU AVE.,5700 block, Sept. 15 to Sept. 20. A 1997 Honda Civic was stolen. The vehicle was recovered Sept. 22 in Rockville with a broken window and damaged ignition.
FREDERICK RD.,15400 block, 9:30 a.m. Sept. 15. A man entered a Volvo car dealership and said he wanted to test drive a vehicle. The man drove off in a 2001 Toyota Pathfinder owned by the dealership.

FLOWER AVE.,8500 block, 1:58 a.m. Sept. 20. A man pulled a male into an alley and touched him inappropriately. The male escaped. A Silver Spring man, 34, was arrested in the incident.
ROBBERIESARLINGTON RD. AND HAMPDEN LANE,3 p.m. Sept. 18. A person attacked a female eating lunch in a park, grabbed her and tried to take her purse, but the woman escaped. The assailant fled empty-handed. An arrest was made in the incident.
OXFORD ST.,4600 block, 6:30 p.m. Sept. 21. Two men accosted several people near their driveway. One man tackled one of the residents to the ground and took his wallet. The assailants ran behind a nearby residence and fled in a green Cadillac.

ELKHART ST.,1900 block, 4:42 p.m. Sept. 20. A man approached a female and touched her inappropriately. When she told him that she was going to call the police, the man fled.
ASSAULTSARLISS ST.,8700 block, 6 p.m. Sept. 17. Two males accosted a male at knifepoint, cut him and fled. Police said the incident might be gang-related.
ROBBERIESCASTLE BLVD.,13900 block, 3 p.m. Sept. 22. Four males accosted a boy riding his bike and demanded he get off the bike. The boy complied, and the males fled with his yellow Huffy bicycle.
COLESVILLE RD.,8900 block, 7:33 p.m. Sept. 15. Two males accosted a man. One of the assailants grabbed him and forced him to the ground, and the other took property.
ELLSWORTH DR.,900 block, 9:10 p.m. Sept. 19. Two males in a public parking garage assaulted a man as he got off an elevator and took property. One of the assailants activated the man's vehicle alarm to locate his vehicle, and they fled in the vehicle.
GEORGIA AVE. AND ELLSWORTH DR.,9:30 p.m. Sept. 17. Two men accosted a man and threatened to harm him if he did not give up personal property. The man complied, and the assailants fled.
HILDAROSE DR. AND MCKENNEY AVE.,10:30 p.m. Sept. 20. Seven males assaulted two people. One was knocked to the ground, and the other person escaped and called police.
NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE.,11200 block, 8 p.m. Sept. 20. Two males in a shopping center parking lot attacked a man and knocked him to the ground. They searched his pockets, took his wallet and fled.
NORTHAMPTON DR. AND BEACON RD.,11:30 p.m. Sept. 17. Two men accosted a man and demanded property. When he refused, the men assaulted him, took his wallet and fled.
PLUM ORCHARD DR.,12200 block, 9:05 a.m. Sept. 18. A man approached a male driver entering his car and got into the car with him. The assailant ordered the driver to a parking lot nearby. When they arrived, the assailant demanded property and fled.

KIMBALL AND MANCHESTER PLACE, BARTHOLOMEW CT., GREENLEY, DEXTER AND DENNIS AVENUES, FINCH, DARROW, AND INSLEY STREETS, AUGUST DR. AND HAYWOOD CIR., Sept. 15 to Sept. 19. Thirteen vehicles were entered; seven were unlocked. Computer equipment, Global Positioning System devices, cash and cellphones were taken.
MEMORY LANE,3100 block, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 16. A man and a male youth entered the residence of an acquaintance by force, took property and fled.

GEORGIA AVE.,12500 block, 7 p.m. Sept. 16. A group of males and females surrounded a woman and began to strike her. One of the females grabbed the woman's property and fled on a departing bus. The other assailants ran in different directions.

CENTERWAY ROAD, Sept. 17. A male youth threatened an adult male neighbor with a knife. A male youth was arrested in the incident.
FREDERICK AVE. N.,300 block, 11:15 p.m. Sept. 20. Three males in a parking lot near a vitamin store left a party and attacked at least two people with baseball bats after a dispute.
LAKEFOREST BLVD.,700 block, 5:50 p.m. Sept. 19. A man took clothing from a department store and fled. A store security guard chased the man to the 18200 block of Lost Knife Circle in Montgomery Village but stopped after the assailant threatened the guard with a knife.
ROBBERIESDIAMOND AVE. W.,4:15 p.m. Sept. 18. A man accosted a male in a parking lot, punched him, took property and fled.
QUINCE ORCHARD RD.,800 block, 4 p.m. Sept. 23. Three males entered a computer retail store with a handgun and told customers and employees to get down on the floor. Property was taken from the business, and a customer's vehicle was stolen and used in the male's escape. The vehicle was recovered in a park-and-ride lot on Quince Orchard Road. Two District males and a Gaithersburg male were arrested in the incident.

WOODSEND CT.,6 to 11 p.m. Sept. 24. A television, a video game console, several video games, three video game controllers, a cable box, a laptop computer, three digital music players, a wallet, a safe, two ornamental axes and a cellphone were stolen from a residence.

HOUSTON AVE.,600 block, 2 a.m. Sept. 29. One person struck another with an aluminum baseball bat.
MAPLE AVE.,7600 block, 9 p.m. Sept. 25. One person struck another after a domestic argument.
ROBBERIESALFRED DR.,9:26 p.m. Sept. 29. A male got out of a small truck and accosted a male pedestrian, demanding cash. The pedestrian fled to a nearby residence, chased briefly by the pedestrian and returned to the vehicle occupied by two other males and fled in a small green or black truck, possibly a Ford Escape. The assailant was described as skinny and wearing a white bandana around his neck.
KENNEWICK AVE.,7900 block, 9:50 p.m. Sept. 29. Two men accosted a male as he was leaving his residence, forced him to a poorly lit area about 10 feet away, took property and fled.
THEFTS/BREAK-INSFLOWER AVE.,800 block, 1:27 p.m. Sept. 27. A man was arrested and charged with forgery of checks.
HAMMOND AVE. AND ANNE ST.,4:35 to 4:42 a.m. Sept. 30. Property was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.
MAPLE AVE.,7700 block, 1:01 a.m. Sept. 28 to 8 a.m. Sept. 29. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.
SHERMAN AVE.,100 block, 7:30 p.m. Sept. 27 to 8:45 a.m. Sept. 28. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTSMAPLE AVE.,7100 block, 5 to 6:40 p.m. Sept. 27. A 1999 Volkswagen Jetta was stolen.
