Pfc. Christopher A. Bartkiewicz,25, of Dunfermline, Ill.; 2nd Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, based in Baumholder, Germany. Killed Sept. 30 in Baghdad.

Pfc. Tavarus D. Setzler,23, of Jacksonville, Fla.; 2nd Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, based at Fort Hood, Tex. Killed Oct. 2 in Majar al-Kabir.

Sgt. William P. Rudd,27, of Madisonville, Ky.; 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, based at Fort Benning, Ga. Killed Oct. 5 in Mosul.

Col. Michael R. Stahlman,45, of Chevy Chase, Md.; Headquarters Battalion, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, based in Twentynine Palms, Calif. Died Oct. 5 of noncombat injuries sustained July 31 in Anbar province.

All troops were killed in action unless otherwise indicated.

Total fatalities include 11 civilian employees of the Defense Department.
