D.C. police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who stabbed a woman early Tuesday after breaking into her home on Capitol Hill.
Police said the man broke into a residence in the 500 block of 14th Street SE just after midnight. The woman was stabbed after confronting the intruder, police said. She is recovering at a hospital.
The assailant was wearing light-colored pants and a black hooded sweatshirt, police said. They asked anyone with information to call authorities at 202-727-9099 or send details by text message to 50411.
