Highlights

Season 15 of "Inside the Actors Studio" (Bravo at 7 p.m.) opens with James Lipton profiling Christian Slater, who coincidentally stars tonight in "My Own Worst Enemy" (Channel 4 at 10), previewed by Tom Shales on Page C1.

Actor Ray Liotta lends his voice to "SpongeBob SquarePants' WhoBob WhatPants?" (Nickelodeon at 8), playing the bad guy in this special, in which everyone's favorite sponge is struck with amnesia.

"Little People, Big World" (TLC at 8) sends Matt to Baghdad to help Iraqi little people on the fourth-season premiere.

If the promise of a Serena/Blair catfight isn't enough, watch Chuck manage to become even creepier on "Gossip Girl" (Channel 50 at 8) when he's recruited by a Skull and Bones society.

On "How I Met Your Mother" (Channel 9 at 8:30), Ted's pals decide it's time to sit him down and have an intervention for a serious problem: his engagement to Stella.

"Section 60: Arlington National Cemetery" (HBO at 9) travels to Virginia for this documentary about "the saddest acre in America": where those killed in Iraq and Afghanistan are buried.

Fact: Only 7 percent of communication we understand is through the spoken word. The rest is through what scientists call "The Secrets of Body Language" (History at 9).

In a follow-up to the 1993 documentary, "The Return of the War Room" (Sundance at 9) examines how political processes have changed since Bill Clinton's 1992 campaign.

The season premiere of "Samantha Who?" (Channel 7 at 9:30) finds Sam and her mom indulging in hard-core dance practice to beat Regina's enemy in a competition.

In "The Last Lynching" (Discovery at 10), host Ted Koppel talks to three Democrats involved in selecting Barack Obama as a nominee; the three also were affected by racially charged incidents earlier in life.

Alan's ex-girlfriend recruits him to help her husband beat a murder charge, but Alan's secret feelings for her might sway his work on "Boston Legal" (Channel 7 at 10).

"The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" (Channel 4, 11:35) hosts actress Selma Blair, actor-comedian Katt Williams and singer Amy Lee.

Actress-comedian Sarah Silverman, TV hosts the Teutuls and musical guest Ra Ra Riot are on "Late Show With David Letterman" (Channel 9, 11:35).

"Late Night With Conan O'Brien" (Channel 4, 12:35) has rapper-actor LL Cool J, director Oliver Stone and a performance by Dead Confederate.
