Supervisors Reschedule November Meeting
The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors has rescheduled its first business meeting in November because of the Nov. 4 election.
Instead of meeting Nov. 4, the board will meet at 9 a.m. Nov. 3. The meeting will include time for public comment because the board had to cancel the public input session originally scheduled for the evening of Nov. 3. Time allotted for public comment may be limited, so the board will hear first from speakers who want to comment on any item listed on the business meeting agenda.
To sign up in advance to speak, call the board clerk's office from 8:30 a.m. Oct. 29 to 3 p.m. Oct. 31 at 703-771-5072 or 703-777-0200. Speakers also can sign up at the meeting.
Loudoun Water Museum To Open Saturday
The Loudoun Water Aquiary, a museum about the treatment and delivery of drinking water, will open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the headquarters of Loudoun Water, 44865 Loudoun Water Way in Ashburn.
The museum offers more than a dozen interactive exhibits, trails and other visual elements. After Saturday's opening, the facility's normal hours of operation will be 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. It will be open on occasional Saturdays.
