PARKLAWN PARK AREA,8:30 p.m. Sept. 26. A man raped an acquaintance. A 22-year-old man was arrested.

KING FARM BLVD.,100 block, 8:15 p.m. Sept. 26. A male struck an acquaintance several times and knocked her to the ground. A District man, 32, was arrested.

ROCKVILLE PIKE AND RANDOLPH RD.,3:10 p.m. Sept. 27. A man panhandling in the median at an intersection pulled a knife on a person picking up trash. A man, 57, of no fixed address, was arrested.

MANNAKEE ST.,1 to 99 block, 11:45 a.m. Sept. 25. A male in a parking lot robbed a male getting out of a vehicle of property at knifepoint. The assailant fled on foot.

ROCKVILLE PIKE,1700 block, 7:30 p.m. Sept. 27. An armed man robbed a restaurant. A 47-year-old man was arrested.

ELM STREET PARK AREA,2 p.m. Sept. 25. Two male teenagers knocked a person to the ground near the entrance to Crescent Trail. After beating the victim about the head, face, and back, the assailants fled with property.

GEORGETOWN BRANCH TRAIL,1:30 p.m. Sept. 26. Three males attacked a pedestrian near the tunnel at Pearl Street, then fled with property.

SUNDALE DR. AND QUINTON RD.,11:15 p.m. Sept. 26. Two males tried to steal cash from a male pedestrian, who resisted. The assailants fled empty-handed.

WESTLAKE TERR.,10200 block, 4:15 p.m. Sept. 26. Three males attacked a male youth as he was walking, then removed property from his pants pockets and fled.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

WAYNE AVENUE NEAR SLIGO PARK,2:37 a.m. Oct. 5. A woman walking toward her home was forced into the woods and sexually assaulted. A Silver Spring man, 24, was charged with attempted second-degree rape, third-degree sexual offense, fourth-degree sexual offense, attempted kidnapping and second-degree assault.

OLD COLUMBIA PIKE,12300 block, 8:25 p.m. Sept. 30. Two males in a parking lot robbed a motorist of his 2007 Mercedes at gunpoint.

COLESVILLE RD.,10100 block, 6:10 p.m. Sept. 23. A man in a drugstore attacked an employee with a knife when he was confronted about concealing merchandise.

LOCKWOOD DR.,11300 block, 1:22 p.m. Sept. 29. During an argument, a person struck an acquaintance.

SPENCERVILLE RD. AND PEACH ORCHARD DR.,10:20 p.m. Sept. 27. A male driving a black, four-door automobile fired a shot into the door of a parked vehicle. The vehicle's owner was standing near it at the time.

AVENEL RD.,9300 block, 8 p.m. Sept. 25. Four males in a parking lot attacked two male youths and robbed them of property at knifepoint. The assailants fled in a white four-door vehicle.

AVONSHIRE CT.,1 to 99 block, 11:39 p.m. Sept. 27. Four men attacked a male and robbed him of property at gunpoint.

BALLENGER DR. AND BALD HILL CIR.,8:10 p.m. Sept. 25. Five males attacked a male, knocking him to the ground. After searching his pockets, the assailants fled empty-handed.

CASTLE WAY,3400 block, 2:15 p.m. Sept. 28. A pizza deliveryman was robbed of property at gunpoint. The incident occurred at an address to which a fake delivery order had been made.

EASTERN AVE.,8000 block, 10:05 p.m. Sept. 25. A male and another person robbed a female entering an apartment building of property at gunpoint.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE.,11200 block, 11:35 p.m. Sept. 29. A man pinned a man against a vehicle, took his wallet and fled with an accomplice.

NORTHAMPTON DR.,900 block, 10:20 p.m. Sept. 28. Two men grabbed a pedestrian and threw him to the ground, then fled with property from his pockets.

GOLDENROD LANE,20200 block, Sept. 24 to 25. A Global Positioning System device and power cord were stolen from a vehicle in a hotel parking lot. The vehicle was entered by breaking a window.

CONTOUR RD.,18200 block, 2 p.m. Sept. 27. A customer in a retail store was seen concealing merchandise. When confronted by security personnel, he attacked them with wire cutters. A man, 46, of no fixed address was arrested.

EAST DIAMOND AND NORTH SUMMIT AVENUES,6 p.m. Sept. 28. Two males asked a man whether he would share the beer he was drinking. When he declined, he was struck with a baseball bat. The assailants fled with the victim's beverages.

ROCKVILLE PIKE,1600 block, 10:30 to 10:40 a.m. Oct. 5. A bag containing a wallet, a camera, cash, a cellphone, debit cards, an insurance card, a driver's license and a set of vehicle keys was stolen from a shopping cart.

ROYAL CRESCENT,600 block, 5 p.m. Sept. 29 to 10 a.m. Sept. 30. A vehicle emergency kit and a Global Positioning System device were stolen from a vehicle.

SETH PL.,300 block, 2:11 a.m. Sept. 30. A Hyattsville man, 22, was arrested and charged with contributing to a minor. A Rockville girl, 16, was arrested and charged with auto theft, forgery and theft in an incident that originated in Frederick.

ASSAULTS

ETHAN ALLEN AVE.,200 block, 8:10 p.m. Oct. 7. A gray, four-door automobile stopped near a pedestrian. One of three passengers fired a BB gun out a window, and the vehicle sped away. No injuries were reported.

ROBBERIES

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE.,7600 block, 8:46 p.m. Oct. 6. On an open warrant from Anne Arundel County, a man was arrested for robbery, second-degree assault and theft.

UNIVERSITY BLVD.,1:24 a.m. Oct. 7. A man wearing a bandana implied that he had a weapon and took cash from a convenience-store cash register.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

FLOWER AVE.,8600 block, 7:30 p.m. Oct. 5. Two males armed with a crowbar and a baseball bat forced their way into a residence, then fled with property.

MAPLE AVE.,7600 block, 5:45 p.m. Oct. 3 to 11:55 a.m. Oct. 5. Property was stolen from a vehicle.

MAPLE AVE.,7700 block, 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 5. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

UNIVERSITY BLVD.,1300 block, 11 a.m. to 1:36 p.m. Oct. 8. A purse was stolen from a restroom.

WILDWOOD DR.,7600 block, 3:59 p.m. Oct. 4. A man wearing dark clothing took property from a vehicle and fled in a dark older-model Honda.

WINDING HILL WAY,200 block, 9 a.m. Oct. 6 to 12:10 a.m. Oct. 7. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.
