SCHOOLS: Lafayette Elementary, Alice Deal Junior High and Woodrow Wilson Senior High schools

HOME SALES: According to Bonnie Gregorio of Re/Max Allegiance, 120 homes were sold since January 2008 in the Chevy Chase part of Washington, starting from $192,000 (efficiencies) to $2.7 million, with $929,201 being the average. There are currently 57 houses listed for sale, priced from $230,000 (efficiencies) to $2.999 million, with 22 under contract.
