GEORGIA AVE. AND COLESVILLE RD.,9:34 p.m. Oct. 11. Two males followed a man out of a restaurant. One threatened to kill the man and knocked a cellphone out of his hand. The two fled with the cellphone.

HAMPSHIRE WEST CT.,1400 block, 9 p.m. Oct. 13. Two males wearing masks accosted a woman. One of them placed his hand over her mouth and took her property.

HEATHER HOLLOW CIR.,1500 block, 9:45 p.m. Oct. 13. A male youth wearing a ski mask accosted a female and demanded property. When she said she had no cash, the youth fled.

MUSGROVE RD.,2400 block, 9:45 p.m. Oct. 7. A masked man accosted a woman walking with her three children and demanded property. He threatened to kill the woman and pointed a gun at her and the children. The woman retreated and the assailant fired a shot in the air. A vehicle drove by, and the robber fled.

PINEY BRANCH RD.,8100 block, 10:36 p.m. Oct. 10. Two men entered a convenience store and pointed a handgun at a clerk. One man ordered the employee to put cash in a bag while the second acted as a lookout. They took cash and fled.

THAYER AVE.,500 block, 10:30 p.m. Oct. 7. Two males in a parking lot walked up behind a woman and grabbed her around the neck. They dragged her to a secluded area of the parking lot, took property and fled.

WINEXBURG MANOR DR.,12500 block, 11 p.m. Oct. 11. Police responded to a complaint of a disorderly person and found a handgun in the person's backpack.

ROBBERIES

ARCOLA AVE. AND LAMBERTON DR.,10:15 a.m. Oct. 11. Three males with hoods covering their faces accosted several male pedestrians at gunpoint and demanded property. The pedestrians complied, and the assailants fled.

CONNECTICUT AVE.,13800 block, 4:30 p.m. Oct. 10. Two males accosted a boy waiting at a bus stop in front of a storage business. They threatened to assault him if he did not give them property. He complied, and the robbers fled.

STRATFORD MANOR TERR.,800 block, 5:50 p.m. Oct. 8. Two male youths assaulted a female standing outside her car, reached in, took a purse and fled.

HAVARD ST. AND BARBARA RD., 9:10 p.m. Oct. 10. Next to Stoneybrook Park, three men wearing masks accosted several pedestrians at gunpoint and demanded property. The pedestrians complied, and the assailants fled in a black Honda.

GUNNERS BRANCH AND FREDERICK ROADS,10 to 10:32 p.m. Oct. 13. Four men in a vehicle stopped next to a couple walking along the street and demanded cash. When the male pedestrian did not comply, two of the men threatened the couple with handguns. The man gave them his wallet, and the assailants fled in a green Cadillac.

AFTERNOON LANE,20500 block, 10 p.m. Oct. 10 to 9 a.m. Oct. 11. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

AMARANTH DR.,19500 block, 10 p.m. Oct. 7 to 8:45 a.m. Oct. 8. Two males backed a moving van up to a retail power sports business, loaded three all-terrain vehicles in the back and fled.

COPPER RIDGE RD.,13300 block, CROWNSGATE CIR.,18400 block, CROWNSGATE CT.,1 to 100 block, 11:55 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 13. Three residences were entered by force, and property was stolen from two of them. Police responded to a report of three suspicious people in the area and arrested three youths.

FAIRWAY VIEW DR.,20800 block, 1 to 5:20 p.m. Oct. 8. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

GOLDENROD LANE,20200 block, 9 p.m. Oct. 11 to 9 a.m. Oct. 12. Attempts were made to forcibly enter two vehicles in a hotel parking lot.

PURDUM RD.,26300 block, 9:20 p.m. Oct. 14. A person entered a residence but fled when a woman in the home heard noises and called her husband's name. The intruder fled out a side door. Nothing was reported missing.

BALTIMORE RD.,800 block, 2:41 p.m. Oct. 11. A man, 25, was arrested and charged with first-degree assault and possession of a deadly weapon in an earlier incident.

GIBBS ST.,100 block, 2:17 to 2:35 a.m. Oct. 11. A man, 27, was arrested and charged with theft, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and rogue and vagabond in an earlier incident.

ROCKVILLE PIKE,200 block, 2:45 to 2:53 p.m. Oct. 14. A Silver Spring woman, 26, was arrested and charged with assault in an earlier incident.

TWINBROOK PKWY.,12400 block, 7:17 to 8 p.m. Oct. 14. A man, 27, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault on a police officer, failure to obey a lawful order and resisting arrest in an earlier incident.

VEIRS MILL RD.,1900 block, 11:05 a.m. Oct. 14. A man, 29, was arrested for domestic assault in an earlier incident.

ROCKVILLE PIKE,200 block, 2:45 to 2:53 p.m. Oct. 14. A Capitol Heights man, 35, was arrested and charged with theft in an earlier incident.

ASSAULTS

HOUSTON AVE.,600 block, 12:15 a.m. Oct. 16. A person kicked open an apartment door and assaulted someone.

MAPLE AND PHILADELPHIA AVENUES,5:48 a.m. Oct. 18. A male argued with a female acquaintance, forced her out of a vehicle, shook her and pushed her to the ground.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE.,6900 block, 3 p.m. Oct. 19. Two male acquaintances got into a verbal altercation that turned into a physical fight. Two males were arrested and charged with first- and second-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

UNIVERSITY BLVD.,1000 block, 2:04 a.m. Oct. 18. A man accosted two males at a bus stop, threatened them with a handgun and assaulted them. Police arrested a man at University Boulevard and Anne Street and recovered a semi-automatic handgun. He was charged with first-degree assault.

UNIVERSITY BLVD.,1100 block, 2:25 a.m. Oct. 18. A male slashed a tire on a moving truck owned by a male acquaintance. A verbal altercation ensued, and the assailant male assaulted the driver.
