EASTERN CONFERENCE

FIRE VS. REVOLUTION

Tonight: at New England, 7:30 (ESPN2).

Nov. 6: at Chicago, 8:30 (ESPN2).

Records: Fire 13-10-7, Revolution 12-11-7.

Outlook: Chicago had a 9-1 scoring advantage in sweeping the three-game season series and New England is missing two injured stars (MF Steve Ralston and F Taylor Twellman).

CREW VS. WIZARDS

Saturday: at Kansas City, 8 (HDNet).

Nov. 8: at Columbus, 7:30 (HDNet).

Records: Crew 17-7-6, Wizards 11-10-9.

Outlook: Columbus had the best record in the league, is on an 8-1-2 run and won the season series (2-0-1), but Kansas City went 5-1-1 to reach the playoffs and is 7-0-3 in its past 10 home matches.

WESTERN CONFERENCE

DYNAMO VS. RED BULLS

Saturday: at New York, 4.

Nov. 9: at Houston, 3 (Telefutura).

Records: Dynamo 13-5-12, Red Bulls 10-11-9.

Outlook: Houston, the two-time defending champion, is 5-0-4 in league play since a 3-0 loss at New York on Aug. 24 and 10-1-4 at home overall. The Red Bulls claimed the final wild-card berth over D.C. United.

CHIVAS USA VS. REAL SALT LAKE

Saturday: at Real Salt Lake, 6 (FSC).

Nov. 8: at Chivas USA, 10:30 (FSC).

Records: Chivas USA 12-11-7, Real Salt Lake 10-10-10.

Outlook: Chivas won two of three regular season meetings against RSL, a first-time playoff participant that went 2-0-3 down the stretch.
