Less Fluff

For decades, I have checked The Post's TV listings each day to ensure I don't miss anything good in the evening.

Lately, the highlights section has been largely filled with fluff about which celebrity is on which talk show, who's doing what on which reality show and which popular poohbahs are appearing on the late-night talk shows.

When substantive shows of potentially great viewer interest -- especially in Washington -- are on, increasingly they are not detailed in the highlights. PBS shows such as "Nova" and "American Experience" should always get at least brief descriptions in the TV listings.
