GALLATIN ST. AND 42ND PL.,12:32 a.m. Oct. 22. Pedro L. Hernandez, 20, of the 5200 block of 42nd Ave., Hyattsville, was found in the street with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

FLINTRDIGE DR.,5200 block, 6:37 p.m. Oct. 14. Wayne A. Lipford, 43, of Hyattsville was found with gunshot wounds in his upper body. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead. On Oct. 27, a 28-year-old District man was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the death.


14TH AVE. AND. 15TH AVE.,4:40 p.m. Oct. 22. A sexual assault occurred.


GREENLAWN DR.,500 block, 12 a.m. Oct. 26. An assault occurred.

HOSPITAL DR.,3000 block, 11:44 p.m. Oct. 24. An assault occurred.

QUEENSBURY RD.,5000 block, 1:52 a.m. Oct. 25. An arrest was made in an assault.

RIGGS RD.,6800 block, 5:40 p.m. Oct. 25. A weapon was used in an assault.

RIGGS RD.,7800 block, 1:34 a.m. Oct. 25. An assault occurred.
