There should be no surprise as to the thousands of Steelers fans at Monday night's game. Since the Redskins moved to FedEx Field, many season ticket holders have become nothing more than ticket brokers. The inconvenient location, traffic and parking issues have made attending games not worth the trouble. The drunken behavior of many has made it difficult to bring your children and is offensive to adults as well. The fact is that Redskins fans have been overrated for years.
Glenn Goldstein, Reston
Are you kidding me? Metro's Morgan Boulevard station on the Blue Line is a convenient 20-minute walk to the stadium. And while some FedEx fans may have an occasional glass of wine before the game, it's moderation city compared to my alma mater Florida's annual gridiron exercise with the student-athletes from Georgia. Buck up, Glenn.
Fortunately, George, I was involved in political doings Monday night and only saw a few plays of the Steelers-Redskins game. Tell me, what was it like?
Bob Credle, Laurel
I watched ESPN's Chris Berman's interview with the presidential candidates and then turned to CNN's Larry King and Anderson Cooper for more discussion. I believe the Redskins lost.
I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know the subject of your column last Sunday -- Josh George -- in 2001 while my son attended Flint Hill in Oakton. Josh's brother Jeremy and my son Jason played freshman basketball and Josh George was an assistant coach. The kids loved him. His knowledge and passion for the game were an inspiration to all of us. It was amazing to see him maneuver the stairways in his wheelchair. We could all learn from Josh's spirit and determination.

I second your comments.
Are the Wizards becoming the NBA's equivalent of the Dallas Cowboys, minus the nut cases? I don't care if Gilbert Arenas and Brendan Haywood are out; if they can't beat the New Jersey Nets at home, something's really out of whack.
Charlie Jurgonis, Alexandria
The NBA season is 82 games, so I would not judge the Wizards after one week. But they haven't looked good, and missing Arenas and Haywood is very significant.
