PERSONNEL DEPT.

Wizards: Second-year F Dominic McGuire was inactive for the first time this season. He had averaged 9.8 minutes in the first five games. McGuire is healthy but Coach Eddie Jordan activated second-year F Oleksiy Pecherov instead.

Jazz: Rookie C Kosta Koufos became the third-youngest player in franchise history to start a game when he did so against Philadelphia on Tuesday night. Koufos (19 years 261 days) ranks behind only current Utah G C.J. Miles (19, 228) and Wizards G DeShawn Stevenson (19, 229), who was drafted by the Jazz out of high school in 2000.
