Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett's proposed budget cuts would reduce service on a dozen Ride On bus routes:
Route 4: Silver Spring-Kensington. Eliminate midday service between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Route 6: Wheaton-Grosvenor-Parkside-Montgomery Mall. Eliminate midday service between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Route 18: Silver Spring-Langley Park. Reduce frequency between Takoma Park and Langley Park to every 30 minutes between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Route 26: Montgomery Mall-Glenmont. Eliminate service to Trolley Museum on Saturday and Sunday.
Route 43: Shady Grove-Traville Transit Center-Fallsgrove Center. Reduce frequency to every 30 minutes between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Route 63: Rockville-Shady Grove. Eliminate midday service between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Routes 75/82: Clarksburg Correctional Facility/Urbana-Germantown Transit Center and Clarksburg Town Center-Germantown Transit Center. Combine routes in Clarksburg, eliminating service north of Md. Route 121, through the Milestone neighborhood and to the Department of Energy.
Route 83: Germantown Transit Center-Milestone Park & Ride. Reduce frequency to every 20 minutes.
Route 90: Shady Grove-Damascus-Milestone. Eliminate Saturday service and eliminate midday service to Milestone on weekdays.
Route 96: Grosvenor-Rock Spring-Montgomery Mall. Eliminate afternoon and evening service to Montgomery Mall on weekdays.
Route 98: Germantown Transit Center-Seabreeze Court. Reduce frequency to every 30 minutes.
