· A Nov. 18 Style article referred to National Humanities Medal winner Richard Brookhiser as Robert Brookhiser.
· A Nov. 18 Business article on a Senate hearing about the nominee to be the special inspector general of the bailout program misidentified the committee that held the hearing and is chaired by Sen. Max Baucus (D-Mont.). It is the Finance Committee, not the banking committee.
· A Nov. 18 Sports item on Washington Redskins linebacker Marcus Washington was accompanied by an incorrect photograph. The Redskins player pictured was linebacker London Fletcher.
· The Value Added column in the Nov. 17 Business section should have said that a typical Chevrolet dealership sells 400 units per year, compared with Toyota's 1,800 per year. The column incorrectly characterized those numbers as monthly figures. The column also incorrectly calculated that dealerships earn $150,000 in profit before taxes for every $1 million in sales. The correct figure is $15,000.
· A photo caption with a Nov. 17 Business article incorrectly described a Maryland house up for raffle as being in Edgewood. It is in Edgewater.
· A photo caption with a Nov. 16 Travel article incorrectly named the artist and the photographer. The painted gate in the Bushwick area of Brooklyn, N.Y., is by Celso; the photo is by Ben Chapman.
