Calling All Artists Who Also Love Books
· We know KidsPost readers are great artists (just look at our weather art every day) and they love to read (what are you doing now, right?) Here's a great opportunity to put those two things together -- and win a great prize.
The Post's Book World section invites artists ages 5 to 12 to submit bright, colorful drawings on the topic of the love of reading. The winning entry will be used as the cover for a future issue of Book World, and the winner gets a bag of books.
Here are the rules:
· All art should be made by hand, not on the computer.
· Pictures can be vertical or horizontal but not smaller than 8.5 by 11 inches or larger than 11 by 16 inches.
· All entries must be received by Wednesday.
· Include your name, age, telephone number and address on the back of your entry and send it to Book World Art Invitational, The Washington Post, 1150 15th St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20071. E-mail morrism@washpost.com for more information.
