It has been five months since the Source Theatre reopened its doors on 14th Street NW. And this weekend the storied theater will finally get a proper housewarming party.
Swing by the Source's revamped space Sunday for a full day of interactive workshops and lively performances. And the gift-giving is on them; everything is free!
Learn improv comedy, stage makeup, playwriting, Latin dancing or slam poetry from the pros. Kids can join a singalong with groovy Mr. Nate or watch a puppet master perform "Piccolo's Trunk." Adults can catch productions by the Constellation Theatre Company.
And who couldn't benefit from the Jedi secrets promised to be revealed during light-saber class?
SOURCE COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Source Theatre, 1835 14th St. NW. 202-315-1322. http:/
