Rockets: Former Maryland star Steve Francis, who picked up the option on the final year of his contract over the summer, has yet to play this season and was again on the inactive list last night as he continues to rehabilitate his knee. F Shane Battier (left foot) also was out.
Wizards: PG Antonio Daniels returned after missing four of the previous five games with soreness in his right knee. PG Dee Brown and C JaVale McGee each made his second straight start . Second-year F Oleksiy Pecherov was a healthy scratch.
