Quarterback Keeper

On third down and one early in the second quarter, quarterback Jason Campbell extended the drive with a run around the left side. Campbell received the snap, waited for Clinton Portis to hit his block, and, though the running back barely touched the defender, it cleared enough space for Campbell to dive for four yards.

Second-Half Life

Washington scored the first 10 points of the second half, which was a noticeable change from recent weeks. In the Redskins' two previous games against the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers, Washington failed to score in the entire second half.

In the Swing

Famously chatty Seattle cornerback Josh Wilson, who went to DeMatha and Maryland, goaded Santana Moss into a rare unnecessary roughness call against a wide receiver. The two were jabbering after a second-quarter running play, when Moss suddenly threw a left cross into Wilson's face mask.
