Less Than Impressive

The offenses combined for a game's worth of mishaps in the first half. Among the lowlights, Seattle's Matt Hasselbeck was penalized for intentional grounding and both quarterbacks were forced to call timeouts because of confusion, with more flags for delay of game, ineligible man downfield, illegal shift and false start.

By the Numbers

26:19

Minutes and seconds elapsed before Seattle completed a pass to a wide receiver, a 14-yard completion to Koren Robinson. That was the only completion to a Seahawks wide receiver in the first half.

Drought Over

Running back Ladell Betts, who has struggled with knee and hamstring injuries this season, replaced Clinton Portis when the latter exited with a sprained muscle in his hip during the second quarter. Betts's ensuing one-yard touchdown run was his first score since Dec. 16.
