Adam Teague added 14 points, including four three-pointers, and Kaleo Kina had 11 points for Navy, which won its fourth straight game after losing its opener.

The Hawks (0-3) were led by Neal Pitt, who scored 18 points.

· AMERICAN 56, STONY BROOK 53: Nick Hendra scored 16 points and Frane Marcusovic added 13 to help the Eagles win in Stony Brook, N.Y.

Garrison Carr had 10 points for American (4-1), including two free throws with 15 seconds left that sealed the victory.

Tommy Brenton scored 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Patriots (1-3). Chris Martin added 10 points.

· ILLINOIS-CHICAGO 68, HOWARD 54: Scott VanderMeer scored 13 points and blocked five shots as the Flames (2-2) won at Burr Gymnasium.

Eugene Myatt scored 19 points for Howard (1-4), which lost its fourth straight and shot only 2 of 17 from three-point range.
